Hello Little One,
I know you're there,
Though I'm yet to feel your flutters.

You're deep within in my womb,
Safely encapsulated in your cocoon,
Growing bigger and bigger everyday.

Though we've not yet met,
You've already stolen my heart,
With my adoration for you ever expanding.

Though you are but a heart beat,
With neurons firing and body parts twitching,
You are forever apart of me now.

So until the day you burst into my world, and ever after,
I will protect you, little one,
For you already have me until the end.
